Hi there, any updates on the RELA services? I personally witnessed 3 days of end-of-school and it has been chaotic, although there are slight improvements in controlling the crowd. It is a necessity, the school cannot depend on 1 or 2 security guards to control the crowd.
Also, I must say that the school gate is very crowded and would like to suggest that parents can gather at an area *inside* the school compound like near the gate or at the basketball court, with barriers / do-not-cross tape to manage parents, guardians, day care organizers, transporters, etc. Students can proceed to the waiting area to look for whoever they are expecting. I feel this is much better that many parents squeezing each other at the gate and at the same time having to watch out for traffic.

Dear Andy,
I am still following up with the relevant personnel on RELA service. According to RELA HQ, they only provide RELA service if we have any events (what we need is a long term service). Captain Jersen from RELA office in Sentul will come back to me on this. Meanwhile, we also need the school to set a clear and fix rule for picking and dropping students in front of the school. Then the RELA officers will know exactly what to do when they start giving their service. Thank you
Captain Jersen gave me Leftenan Abedan from Subang Jaya in September 2013. Application letter had been sent to him personally by myself in the same month. However, I lost touch with him as he has changed his contact number.
