During the recent PIBG meeting I believe there is a FD of RM200+ thousand was mentioned. Why is the school still asking parents for donations? Can’t the school make use of the funds?

I hope the current PIBG is transparent enough to show the parents, the findings of the survey done. What does the statistic show? Is the basketball hall a NEED or a WANT! I hope you guys are not side track to be like the ex-PIBG committee and try to hide the truth especially when money is involved. Btw, the donation is to TABUNG PEMBANGUNAN…. In this year alone I have come across two new acc created, LEMBAGA PENGURUS. All I can say is something fishy is going on.

Why not put the funds into better use e.g. fixing the toilet plumbing system and extension of the current canteen? Why do we need another hall when the school compound space is already so limited?

We are very sorry to inform you and all the parents that the RM 290k in the PIBG accounts presented at the AGM has been transferred to the Tabung Pembinaan when we took office at the end of June 2013. So the RM 290k does not belong to PIBG and was transferred between the time frame of the 1st AGM (14th April,2013) and the 2nd AGM (29th June, 2013). We were told that the RM 290K actually belongs to the Tabung Pembinaan, it was parked temporarily under the PIBG account. The reason this situation arises is due to the fact that the ex-ydp of PIBG has the distinct honour of holding three positions simultaneously, namely ydp of PIBG, deputy chairman of Lembaga Pengurus and chairman of Tabung Pembinaan. This unique position allows him to transfer funds from the three accounts around to suit the needs of the three organization that he manages as the need arises.

We only had the AJK meeting on Wednesday night when the results of the survey was presented to the headmaster. We apologise for the delay in publishing the results of the survey as we did not have the opportunity to see the headmaster prior to this.

Hi CJ, want to bet? They will only publish the survey result after the concert, because the result shows the parents don't want a covered basketball court

Hi Magan, you don't have to bet, among the parents answered this survey question, the result shows 35% of parents prefer the basketball court over canteen extension. 65% think otherwise.
Before we publish the result, I just want to make sure the presentation of the survey is easy to understand and not misleading. It has nothing to do with the concert.

Ken, are you saying minority rule ? Meaning need to listen to the 35% to go for basketball court ?

Is it so hard to just type out the result ? Just like the one line you type for the basketball court, it's so clear already.

Hi Swee Kian, you are right it's pretty easy to post this one line result, and I am glad it gives you a clearer picture.

I don't understand what makes you think that I am saying minority rule? The post just stated 35% of parents prefer basketball court roof and 65% think otherwise, meaning 65% favor canteen extension.

Just in case you missed the fine print on the concert notice, the concert to raise money for the basketball court roof is organized by the Tabung Pembinaan, not us.

PIBG does not organize this event, and No, we are not saying minority rule.
