Everyone Can Paint

Next week will see the penultimate UPSR exam for our standard 6 children. Good luck to all those taking part and a note of appreciation to those involved in preparing our children for this grueling examination. 

Some of our thoughtful parents have engaged an artist to conduct               Art Jamming          classes – Art for Heart -starting from 8 September 2014 to 11 September 2014 from 10 am to 12 noon  for those children who are not involved in UPSR.  Each session is limited to 10 participants . On the same subject of activities, do you want your children to participate in activities which are not available in  LH such as Chess (both English and Chinese ), swimming , skating , art , cooking/cake making , writing etc. ? 

We are looking for parents who have these skills and willing  to share them with other parents as well as conducting classes or supervising children. If you are interested  to let your children participate or becoming part of the teaching/supervising team, please drop us a line. 

Our academic year is fast approaching the last quarter  and for the first time in our living memory  (as in our association with primary school), LH will not be conducting tuition classes after UPSR.  While most of our  children will rejoice, some of our parents may think otherwise as we enter a new era of giving parents the option  to manage their own children after school programs instead of giving in to the  default school  tuition program. We will have the last batch of UPSR in 2015 to see the impact of fewer school based tuition.
